Welcome to the year of the DRAGON everyone.
it should be an interesting one!

We recently updated the future engagement section with several new shows and there will be more over the next few weeks.

There are a couple of shows this week.

First up is 35Denton,
we're glad to have been asked back and excited to see a lot of the bands they have this year. Not to mention incredibly stoked to be playing with OM!

Following that the next night we'll be in Dallas for a party with some good friends from Philadelphia. Parade of Flesh is hosting and both bands will be performing & spinning records all night. 

Then sunday we'll be back in Denton to see Purling Hiss, LEGSWEEPER, Thee Oh Sees, the Jesus & Mary Chain, and more.


As for SXSW...
I know a lot of you already figured this out, but we've decided to pass on playing this year. The last 3 years have been fun, so we're going to see how much more fun we can have with no schedule to keep, traffic to get the trailer through, or gear to lug around! 


In April we've got a few of Texas dates, all of which should be a good time, and in May I'm pleased to say we'll be hitting the road again with Kurt Vile & the Violators. We were saddened when our shows together last year came to an end, but fortunately it was only a temporary parting. 
Plus we'll be joined this time around by Black Bananas! 
Puppets and Apes go Nuts!!!


Grab the dragon by the horns and hold on for a ride.

We all made it back from Europe no worse for ware.
The trip was better than any of us could have expected! I'll post a full breakdown just as soon as we get back from this Southeast trip with the almighty Boris!!

We leave today for a quick trip through the Southeast with one of our all time favorite bands Boris (Japan). As a matter of fact the first show the 3 of us saw together after forming TW was Boris. There are only a handful of dates with them but I couldn't be more stoked!
To say we've been looking forward to this would be a huge understatement!!

After our last show with them (New Orleans) we make a stop in Baton Rouge for a show with Thou and then return home to play Dallas with Joe Lally.

the next week and a half should be great!

Our new E.P. comes out today and we hope everyone that's enjoyed our stuff so far has a goodtime with it! I.N.O. is one of the first song we recorded as a band. We did it where we practice and on our own recording gear. We got a chance to play around with several ideas on that song and i think it stands as a nice bridge to show where we've come since the beginning. It's strange to be saying this for a second time this year, but we'd really like to thank Kemado for putting this out! We never expected to get I.N.O. on wax but we're stoked we did!

:::Back from the East to go back to the West:::

According to Dr. Dre California knows how to party,

and we're going to put that to the test in just a few days time!

We'll be all over the west coast playing shows with the ever so awesome Grails and even a couple with our good friends MOAB! After that we head north for our 1st return to Portland & Seattle, and then it's on to new territory in Boise & Salt Lake City. 

Sorry Denver! 

Hopefully we can work something out for next time. 

***Not much has been said about it yet but we have an E.P. being released by Kemado in early October. It's titled "I.N.O." and will be available on 12" vinyl. The album will contain 3 songs from the As High As... session, 2 songs recorded by us at our jam space (I.N.O. was one of our first recordings together), and new artwork form D.H., Kenneth, & Mats!!!***

{08.2011 East Coast} Seems like only yesterday...

...we were out east playing shows, making new friends, and finding good-times, so we're all pretty excited to be getting back there this fast!

For the fist half this trip we'll be joining Kurt Vile & the Violators. We've had the chance to play together a few times when he was passing through Dallas in the past and it's always been great! I'm definitely looking forward to making it happen on the road.

Once we get to Baltimore we'll part ways with Kurt and the gang. 

It will be sad but there will be plenty of shows left and lots of friends we've made over the last 3 years like Purling Hiss, Fangs Out, Restorations, Mansion, and our east coast road warriors from a year ago Bad Dream to play them with!
